PMC History
The Inception
The business began in general industries as a subcontractor of metal components with
– 1 unit of CNC turning
– 2 unit of conventional milling
– 5 employees
Steady Growth
The business saw to its first stepping-store success with a steady growth that has led to the expansion of production with five more units of CNC milling to support as the 2nd tier supplier to contract manufacturing company locally.
First Million Going Global
Acquired an international client, a semiconductor customer from Singapore that brought the company to new heights since inception. This has led to an investment of additional seven units of CNC milling.
More Than Just Made To Order
Since the business has stabilized, we began to provide consultation and solutions to our semiconductor client. In efforts to increase customer satisfaction, we partner with our customers to assess and advise based on their needs and unique requirements.
Onwards To The US And Europe
In line with business growth and the plan to expand our market reach to the US and Europe customers, we have invested in additional 18 units of machines to support production growth.

Mr. THEY SOO CHAI
Managing Director
From a humble beginning, the quiet yet knowledgeable Mr. They Soo Chai has immersed himself in precision engineering for over 13 years working for various engineering companies, both local and global brands. Starting from a low-level engineer, he has steadily climbed the technical ladder in the industry, which has made him a well-rounded precision engineer, a known expert in this industry. Some of his notable engineering prowesses include engineering solutions, troubleshooting, and excellent planning skills.
Being immersed in this industry for so long, SC They has identified with the trade and saw immense potential for venturing into this business. With a great passion for technical engineering, in the year 2005, he decided to start his own precision business. He began with the confidence that he will be able to help solve the problems and gaps he saw in this market – helping local companies with global competitiveness. He believes by helping his customers solve their problems, and thus grow their business; he will rise together with them too.
The venture has made him proud to be able to create various job opportunities and hopes to continue in giving back to the society in whichever way he can. Today, he is known among his peers and subordinates for his unique ability in articulating knowledge and his leadership. This is especially apparent when his training methods with his staffs where they can understand, learn and pick up the trade fast. SC They believes in the importance of self-assertiveness where to be successful one has to build and grow from the ‘self’ first. His strong beliefs and manner have had a positive influence on the company culture where a quick chat with his leaders would show you their confidence, knowledgeability and courteousness.

Our Company
PMC Precision Sdn Bhd was founded in 2005 and is based in Penang. Malaysia by Mr SC They to help contractors and his potential customers on the challenges in the ever-evolving precision engineering industry. Armed with more than 15 years of experience in the trade, he and his team has been manufacturing quality precision machined parts and components for clients from around the world.
Believing that precision engineering business should be more than just precise, he has built and instilled quality craft and exceptional customer service as the backbone of the company to establish reliability and trustworthiness in their clients.

Business Development
I was a machinist for 2 years. Then worked on precision tools distribution in a German company before I became a partner in PMC Precision in 2009. My knowledge and experience in the foreign markets have allowed me to help the company in expanding the business into Germany and Switzerland within the five years. At the same time, I’ve also managed to secure the account of a local contract manufacturing company. My responsibilities also include overseeing operations in the Sales and Customer Service Department.
Mr. JAY CHUAH
Sales
Knowledge to me is like water to a desert. I have knowledge and experience in tooling fabrication, die casting, CNC machine setup and programming, surface preparation, surface treatment and manufacturing, but these are not enough for me. Therefore, when the opportunity to gain more technical knowledge emerged in 2017, I decided to have a go at it. Since joining PMC as a Business Development Manager, everything else was history. With my extensive technical background, I’m able to support our partners with technical advice, provide top-notch services and help our customers immensely.
